As
may be guessed from the Navigation Bar, the site includes 4 basic areas, namely Sailing, Flying, Local (UK) and Abroad.
Sailing covers some of the holiday cruises I have undertaken both with my own boat Saga and a friend’s larger yacht, Stravaig. Our
Solstice Cruises have been particularly memorable. However, all sailing in a small yacht is an experience that I was not familiar with until I turned 40.
What a waste of the years before that!
Abroad covers our holidays to various ‘airts n’ pairts. We now actually go on holidays to foreign parts which makes a change from our younger years.
I think the economics of all the travel companies we use would disintegrate were it not for the silver haired brigade. Local of course covers UK
events mostly and the odd short break. Some items may be of interest.
